Adam Jacobs, D.O.

Dr. Jacobs is from South Florida, growing up locally in Boca Raton. His interest in Medicine
started while in the medical academy program at West Boca Raton Community High School. While completing his pre-medical courses at the University of Florida, he obtained his BS in Accounting, having a desire to succeed in both Business and Medicine. He then completed his medical education at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida where he was presented with the Maimonides Award recognizing his compassion and dedication to patient care. He then completed his rheumatology fellowship at HCA Florida Bayonet Point affiliated with the University of South Florida. His research interests include myositis and inflammatory arthritis. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the Florida Society of Rheumatology. Outside of his career, he enjoys travelling with his wife, playing with their dog, Toto, and spending time with his family and friends. He is also an avid Miami Heat fan! |
